Senior Interior Designer

Job Summary:
As a Senior Interior Designer, you will lead the design team and manage high-profile projects from concept to completion. This hybrid position allows for 60% remote work and 40% on-site work to ensure the successful execution of design projects. Reliable transportation is required to travel to client meetings and project locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process on multiple projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and firm standards.

• Develop and present high-level design strategies and concepts to clients and stakeholders.

• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design challenges.

• Conduct regular site visits (40% of work time) to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to design plans.

• Establish and maintain relationships with high-end vendors, suppliers, and clients.

• Review and approve the design documentation prepared by the team.

• Mentor and train junior and intermediate designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.

• Stay updated on industry trends, innovations, and best practices to drive design innovation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or related field. NCIDQ is a plus!

• 7+ years of professional experience, including leadership in high-end design projects.

• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, finish materials, and construction processes.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Strong client relationship management and business development capabilities.

• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to project sites and client meetings.

• Experience in managing large-scale or complex projects.

• A portfolio showcasing innovative and high-quality design solutions.
